18 Sep Windows 8 will not support flash
Last month I published an article covering why I prefer to not use flash and showing you why you too should seriously consider not using flash.
A few days ago Microsoft announced that Windows 8 and Internet Explorer 10 would not support flash in Metro Mode. This is due to a number of reasons. Firstly, flash can be a security risk and can cause browsers to operate slower than normal or cause lag or delay when being used. Secondly, the internet and the way websites are developed has changed. The release of html5 has shown that many things can be done with html5 that previously was mostly done using flash.
