This guide will take you through the quick install and setup process to ensure you are ready and fully integrated.
It is assumed that you have already installed WooCommerce.
Step 1 – Download, extract and upload
The first thing you need to do is download WooClick Vendor. If you have not already downloaded WooClick Vendor, please check your purchase e-mail which will include a direct download link.
Once downloaded, you should extract the folder called “wooclick” and then upload the folder to your wp-content/plugins folder of your website.
If you are unfamiliar with uploading files to your website, please contact our support team and we will happily do this for you at no cost.
You now need to visit WooCommerce and then Settings and change your currency to to the currency that you use within Clickbank.
Step 2 – Activate
Visit your website and click on “Plugins” in your admin menu.
Next to WooClick Vendor, click on Activate.
Once active, your admin menu will display a new item called WooClick.
Step 3 -License Key
Click on WooClick in the menu and enter your license key and click on submit.
The license key can be found within the email you were sent, above the download links.
The e-mail address is used to notify you should there be any issues with your license. While this is rare, it can happen should your host change some core server settings and we want to ensure you are notified should an issue happen.
If a license issue does happen, it will disable access to the plugin settings, but the core functions will continue to operate as normal, ensuring that issues do not effect your income.
Step 4 – Clickbank Integration
WooClick Vendor requires some information so that it can connect to Clickbank and so that Clickbank can connect to your installation of WooClick Vendor. These include the IPN, IPN Secret, Clerk API and Developer API.
Within your website admin section, click on WooClick and then Clickbank. The first tab on this page that opens is Clickbank API.
Copy the Instant Notification URL shown on the Clickbank page within WooClick. You will need to add this to the Clickbank website.
Visit Clickbank.com and login to your account. Click on Settings and then My Site. Towards the bottom of this page, you will see a section called “Advanced Tools”. Click on Edit to the top right of the Advanced Tools Section.
Paste your Instant Notification URL (from WooClick Vendor) and click on the Test IPN button which will verify that the IPN address can be loaded and communicated with. Make sure you click on save settings so that your IPN address is saved.
Copy the IPN Secret and paste it into the WooClick Vendor settings page where you copied the IPN address from (shown below).
Clerk API Key
Go back to clickbank.com and click on Settings and My Account. At the bottom of this page, you will see a section called “Clerk API Keys”. Click on Edit to the top right of this section.
Click on the “Create new clerk user API key” button.
Enter a name for your API (such as “My Website”, “WooClick” or whatever you prefer).
Tick all options and click on save.
Your Clerk API key will be generated. Copy the Clerk API key and paste it into WooClick Vendor.
Developer API Key
The Developer API Key process is the same as the Clerk API process.
Visit clickbank.com and on the My Account page scroll to the bottom and click on edit to the top right of the Developer API Keys section.
Click on “Create new Developer Key” button, enter a name for your key and click save.
Your Developer key will be generated. Copy the Developer API key and paste it into WooClick Vendor.
Finally, enter your clickbank username into the box within WooClick Vendor and click on submit.
Step 5 – Thank You Page
WooClick Vendor has already created a thank you page. This page is blank and should be left blank as the content for the thank you page comes from the individual products within WooCommerce.
Click on WooClick >> Clickbank and then click the Settings tab, select the page you just created from the dropdown menu and click on submit.
You will see the default thank you page content. This is used to display all required content as well as your message and the download link.
Each product that you create will include this thank you page as a default and you can also edit the thank you page for each product. Why not make it personal and customize your thank you page? You could make it relate to the product purchased, ask customers to follow your social accounts or anything else you like.
